Monarch Behavioral Health is currently recruiting for a full-time Clinical Manager. The Clinical Manager will provide clinical supervision or consultation as needed to clinicians at their location, support clinicians in following policies and procedures, and promote a positive work culture at their location. The Clinical Manager must have a positive and supportive approach towards Monarch Behavioral Health, its employees and its clients. This is a full-time, overtime exempt salaried position requiring 30+ hours of work per week.
The ideal candidate is licensed in the state of Texas as an LPC-S, LMFT-S, LCSW-S, or Licensed Psychologist and has at least 4 years of experience providing direct care, preferably in a private practice environment. They must also be well-organized and detailed in their approach to their work.

General Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clinical caseload (10–12 clients/week) while managing 20–30 hours of leadership responsibilities.
- Supervise, mentor, and hold clinicians accountable through feedback, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with leadership on hiring, onboarding, and overall team development.
- Oversee clinical operations, including documentation quality, compliance, and implementation of clinical standards (e.g., DSM updates).
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance client experience, team efficiency, and overall practice performance.
- Provide clinical consultation, facilitate team meetings, and ensure alignment across leadership and clinical teams.
- Deliver high-quality clinical care while maintaining ethical standards, accurate documentation, and a strong, professional client experience.
- Ability to handle and provide straight-forward feedback to leadership and clinical team members.
- Be a problem solver and think ahead to ensure any challenges don’t greatly impact progress or outcomes for clients.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize various projects independently.
- Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.
- Ability to identify areas where we need improvement clinically and in client experience and initiate the improvement measures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Align with Monarch Behavioral Health’s mission, vision, and values.
- Must be punctual in reporting to work.
- Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and
- Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC) in the State of Texas(must be fully licensed).
- Prior experience in a private practice setting both as a clinician and in a supervisory or management role.
- Be organized and detail oriented.
- Be a team player.
- Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- At least three years’ experience post-unrestricted licensure.
- Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).
